Wolfburn’s first core age-stated bottling was fully matured in second-fill oloroso sherry butts. Baked orange leads a nose of fruity sherry, vanilla essence, milk chocolate, Seville orange, baking spice, ripe fig, and walnut. The palate revels in spiced orange, stewed fruit, bourbon-soaked raisins, vanilla extract, and milk chocolate, melting into pools of caramel sauce, burnt toffee, baked sugar, chocolate praline, fine-ground pepper, and gentle woodsmoke.
