Buffalo Trace Prepares to Welcome Fans for Its Annual Holiday Celebrations
The distillery campus will be aglow with holiday lights as it hosts a variety of yule-themed activities

Buffalo Trace Distillery is getting ready for its 27th annual Holidays at the Trace celebration, set to run from December 4-31, and tickets go on sale tomorrow, November 18, at 10 a.m. EST. The distillery is offering several holiday-themed experiences, including light shows and a cocktail trail for bourbon lovers.
The Buffalo Trace Light Trail Experience offers a family-friendly after-hours walk through thousands of holiday lights, running for 12 nights across three consecutive weekends—December 4-7, December 11-14, and December 18-21. Guests can walk through a 60-foot-long light tunnel and several themed light scenes. Seasonal food and drinks will be available along the walk, including hot chocolate and tastings of Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream for guests over the age of 21. Adult guests at the Light Trail Experience can upgrade their visit for $25 per person and enjoy the Holiday Cocktail Trail, which will offer three winter cocktails featuring Buffalo Trace brands. Along with drinks, the upgrade includes take-home gifts, including a tote bag, souvenir cup, and mini bottles of Buffalo Trace bourbon cream.
Beyond the walking trail, a drive-through light show will be on display on the distillery grounds from December 4-31. This is free to access and will be open from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. nightly.
The distillery’s gift shop will be open for extended hours during December, and Buffalo Trace’s online store is offering expanded options and specialty gifts. Among the highlights are custom woodworking items, including personalized barrel heads, handcrafted Glencairn holders, and custom cocktail muddlers, all made from Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels by the distillery’s on-site woodworkers and sold exclusively online. In addition, the gift shop and website offer branded apparel featuring the Buffalo Trace, Weller, and Pappy Van Winkle logos, as well as specialty items like golf headcovers, engraved cocktail kits, bourbon-infused seasonings and sauces, and pet accessories.
